Venezia! We filed off the train, jumped on a vaporetto, and headed towards our hotel. The hotel was on the complete opposite side of where we usually stayed but it was a nice place to visit. We dropped our bags off and set out for the day. We showed Jamie the fish market, a few old piazza’s, St. Mark’s Square, The Dogge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, and fit in a gondola ride with a gondolier by the name of Vittorio.
We also made reservations for MY FAVORITE PLACE EVER! Trattoria Sempione. We got a window table with a Juliet balcony for that evening. We headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner and then made our way back to the restaurant. The food was awesome as usual! We watched the gondoliers go by during dinner. Mylan sat on his knees and said “Ciao”!!! to each one that passed. After dinner we went to St. Mark’s Square for gelato and then called it a night.
